Počinje proces formiranja Hrvatske komore inženjera strojarstva, kao dio
razdvajanja inženjerskih komora u graditeljstvu. U vrijeme kad je integriranje
i bolja koordinacija struka svjetski trend, u Hrvatskoj se inženjerske komore
razdvajaju zbog nemogućnosti formuliranja zajedničkih interesa. Ostaje
nam nada da će formiranje odvojenih komora omogućiti međusobno
usklađivanje odnosa na ravnopravnim osnovama i načelima zadovoljavanja
legitimnih interesa svih strana.
Beginning of founding process of Croatian Chamber of Mechanical
Engineers, as a part of engineers' chambers general separation process.
In times when improved integration and coordination of construction
specialties is global trend, Croatia experiences separation process as a
consequence of impossibility that different specialties align common
interests. We remain in hope that separate chambers founding will enable
mutual alignment of relations on equal grounds and principles of satisfying
legitimate interests of all sides.

Novi propis od značaja za strojarsku struku: Tehnički propis o sustavima
grijanja i hlađenja zgrada (NN 110/2008) mali je ali značajan korak u smislu
poboljšanja zakonodavnog statusa strojarskih sustava u okviru
komercijalne gradnje
New regulation related to mechanical services, Technical directive for
heating and cooling systems in buildings (NN 110/2008), is small but
significant step in process of improving mechanical services status in
aspect of law regulation within commercial construction field.

Gradsko vijeće Grada Dubrovnika usvojilo Izmjene i dopune GUP-a.
Povećanjem građevinskih zona očekuje se stvaranje uvjeta za realizaciju
niza novih investicijskih projekata.
City Council of Dubrovnik has adopted Changes and Additions to General
Urbanistic Plan. It is expected that resulting increase of building zone areas
will enable realisation of number of new investment projects.

Stupio na snagu novi Zakon o prostornom uređenju i gradnji (NN 76/07). S
obzirom na sadašnje stanje prakse provođenja građevinske regulative, u
ovom trenutku je neizvjesno kako će Zakon utjecati na građevinsku praksu.
New Construction and Urban Planning Act (NN 76/07) has been put in force.
With regards to recent state of building legislation implementation practice,
it is not predictable at the moment how the Act will affect construction
practice.

Donesena su dva važna nova propisa iz oblasti strojarske struke koji se
odnose na gradnju:
1 - Tehnički propis o sustavima ventilacije, djelomične klimatizacije i
klimatizacije zgrada ( „Narodnie novine“ br. 03/2007)
2 - Tehnički propis za dimnjake u građevinama ( „Narodne novine“ br.
03/2007)
The new directives very important for mechanical/thermo-technical trades in
construction industry are established:
1- Technical directive for ventilation, partial air conditioning and air
conditioning of buildings ("Official Gazette" 03/2007)
2 - Technical directive for flues in buildings ("Official Gazette" 03/2007)
Iako u novim propisima postoje nedostaci koji će se morati otklanjati u
skoroj budućnosti, ovi propisi su značajni iz aspekta hrvatske regulative jer
nameću kvalitetu mikroklime građevina kao zakonsku obvezu, čime se bitno
utječe na zaštitu zdravlja korisnika građevine, dok je posljednjih 15-20
godina ovo područje bilo zakonski neregulirano.
Although shortcomings exist in new regulations, this is significant moment
for the state of Croatian legislation as quality of micro-climate conditions is
imposed by these regulations, which significantly affects building user's
health protection - in last 15-20 years this domain was not regulated by laws.
